Balaka Executive Lounge is an airside international lounge at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, operated by InterContinental Dhaka. The space is positioned as a calmer pre-flight retreat with a mix of comfortable seating areas, work-friendly tables, and a buffet-style refreshment spread that typically includes hot and cold dishes, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. Facilities include Wi-Fi, charging points, flight information displays, and shower facilities, with a generally quiet atmosphere suited to both short stops and longer waits before departure. A separate smoking area is available.

Location

Airside - After passport control and security check, turn right and proceed up the stairs at the end of the hall to Level 2, then turn left. Cross over the passage to the lounge located on the left hand side. The lounge is accessible from Terminals 1 and 2 and the same directions apply to access from both, noting this is an integrated terminal.
