Open-plan and window-facing, the Pearl Lounge at Sphinx International Airport looks out over the taxiways and terminal apron from the international departures area. The self-service buffet provides hot and cold food throughout the day, with items like molokhia, kofta, and chicken. You might also find beef dishes or vegetable sides, with breads, fruit, and desserts rounding things out. All food is Halal, and hot coffee, tea, and soft drinks are available at the self-service drinks station. Families can make use of the children's play area. There is also a games room, a quiet area, a family room, a prayer room, and a separate smoking room. Note that the flight information displays sit outside the lounge, so it is worth stepping out to check the departure boards before settling in.
